As I was about to sip my first beer at a local restaurant with friends, I saw a sign above the bar with a quote from Benjamin Franklin, “Beer is proof that G-d loves us and wants us to be happy”. Well, Ben as we know was a smart guy, he must know something about alcohol! As it turns out that line is probably an urban legend and Franklin really said something about rain on a vineyard entering the roots of the vines so we can turn grapes into wine. Who really cares? I’ll drink to that too.
But it got me thinking and searching for some of the best lines about beer I could find. I have a favorite myself, but I’ll save it til the end. So before you tip one back this weekend, consider these as inspiration 😉

Until next time, thanks for taking the time.
